My coworkers are telling me to cut my hair. I get the feeling they're all taking bets to if over each weekend I'll come back with shorter hair. So far no such luck.

Those aren't brackets. Those are Parentheses. Brackets look like []. Jolly can read every last thing you write.

There is a difference in terms of language, but the usage of [] brackets is rare in modern English, which is why parentheses have become known as brackets (word is shorter I guess).
