Check out the current "American Standard Strat". The workmanship & feel is almost as good as the "Artist" series Strats.Also check out any models that have "Texas Special" pickups. As for the trem, the Hipshot Tremsetter", is a very good product to stabilize a Strat's standard trem. I use one on my SRV Strat.
