Haha, actually I don't remember. I bought the 800 I have now from the guy that owns the recording studio that has the modded 800. Actually, now that I think about it, I think I did use his modded 800 on that song. I still get the same sound out of the stock 800 I own though....identical to the recording. I was thinking of getting the same mod performed on my 800, but hell, it almost has too much gain now, gotta turn the gain back to around 8 to get the sound I like.
