I personally think you should get a Fender Statocastor or Telecastor or a Gibson SG for good solos and riffs. These guitars are pretty cheap off the market and VERY high quality. I, and my dad, own all of the guitars I listed and they are my very favorites, they sound great, look good, and are perfect for jamming down sweet solos & riffs.
