really...a lot of that would depend on what kind of amp you have...if it's a tube amp, then it'd mean that you'd beable to turn up louder without distorting...solid states have a tendency to plateau out before pushing the max level of the speakers on the clean channel...so if you had a solid state, it more than likely wouldn't effect it too much unless the different speakers were a different brand and produced a totally different tone too.
