The Singlecut and the LP are actualy fairly different from each other. The PRS has a 25" scale neck, and different size and shape neck which has a different tone than the LP. The body's weren't identicle either. The thickness of each wood was different, along with a few slight differences in the shape. Actually, when it comes to tone, the McCarty is closer to a LP than the Singlecut. I am still highly pissed at Gibson for picking PRS out of the numerous company's that make a "singlecut" even some an exact replica.
