The only thing I really care that you all know is that I own a PRS Custom 22...thats all that matters

I play 2 old fender champs at the same time via a Y cable. Each has it's own extention cab. One has a '58 12" 4 ohm alnico speaker, the other has 2 10" old jensen alnicos. I play a Godin exit22, modded crybaby wah, and a realtube distortion pedal with a 12au7 instead of the 12ax7. All miked, of course.

I'm just starting but I think I have pretty nice stuff:

Guitars:

-Dean VX-T Flying V 6 string w/ floyd rose
-Shecter Omen 7, seven string guitar w/ fixed bridge
-Washburn N1 (as a practice guitar).

Effects and pedals

-Line 6 POD xt Live (with factory effects, but I want the metal amps model pack)

Amps
Ehhhh... well....it's just... OK I have a crapy small amp

- Laney HCM15R 15 Watt Combo wth Reverb

And that's it.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.

My rig is simple,

I have a 1997 USA Fender Fat Strat Texas Special (main guitar)
1982 Gibson Flying V (The V) as it says on the headstock.
199? Jackson Performer with DiMarzzio pups
1995 Alvarez Acoustic Artist model.

My main amp is a 1999 Marshall JCM 2000 DSL running into a 4x12 cab loaded with celestions. I dont use any effects other than my wah pedals. I run the signal into my boss volume pedal then into my dunlop crybaby, last I go into a morley bad horsie wah. I use two wahs because they sound so diffent.
I also have a digitech GNX 4 for practicing. Last I have a Crate 2x12 combo amp that I practice on as well.

a really tiny fender tweed something or other.. I think it's like 5W

Korg AX10G multi effects

everything else is the same...just a few new amps, and a couple effects..

oh gee, this is the third time I've had to make list on this thread. *sigh*

alright, well since the last post, I've sold the dunlop crybaby and I've bought a no-name classical acoustic and another GRX40 as a project guitar.

52 Reissue American Series Tele, EB Slinky's, and playing through a "Kustom Coupe-36" amp, and 1 stomp box, the best I have ever used... Clapton's "Crossroads" pedal.

I also beefed and sharpened the amp sound with all new Tubes, by Eurotubes.com I have a really nice Albert Collins sound with this gear, but can also switch to a nasty-ass "Cream" sound in a flash.

Want the best ?
Get A Tube Amp.

Nice set up. I have been trying to get the money together for a tube amp. Still playing on a modeling amp and have been told many times by the fine folks here that tube is the way to go.

Welcome to GT.

Tube amps are the way to go. Myself...

Fender Mustang (1970-ish)
Fender Deville 2 by 12 speaker setup
Boss DD-3
Boss SD-1
Boss DS-1 (Doesn't get much use)
MXR Phase 90
Dunlop Crybaby 535q

By this time next year I hope to add an MI Audio Blues Pro, Chicago Iron Octavian, and a Boss tuner just because I'm fed up with the little wimpy korg one. Also it has two outputs, so thats always fun to mess with.

I like these threads;-) been a while since I posted my gear list. I've been playing for about 15 years, got most of my gear before I ended up with a load of babies. Built my own recording studio in the attic over last summer, my oasis of shred and home to years of horded gear.

Here's a link to pics of my studio:
http://picasaweb.google.com/celticninja/StudioPics?authkey=Obl8AMV3jL8#5263842022121058226

Here’s the list of gear:

Axes:
Ernie Ball Music Man 7 string Petrucci sig
Ibanez Universe 7 string - customised with Dimarzio Evolution 7's
Ibanez Jem777BRMR
Ibanez Prestige - customised with EMG 81/85
Dean MB-1 Armoured Flame – (#51 signed on headstock)

Bass:
Washburn BB5 Bantam - 5 string with active pups

Rack gear:
Mesa Boogie Triaxis - tube preamp
Mesa Simul-Class 2:90 - tube poweramp
Palmer PDI-03 - speaker simulator
Rocktron Prophesy II - tube preamp with fx
Rocktron Super Hush C - noise supressor
Eventide Harmonizer H3000 D/SE - vintage fx unit
Behringer patchbay
Samson Servo – poweramp for studio monitors

Other stuff:
Line6 Tone Port with Gear Box Gold
Line6 DM4 - distortion stomp box
Boss Line splitter
Boss Metal Zone
Boss chromatic tuner
Radial DI box
Radial reamping box
Sansamp Bass DI driver
E-Bow
Dunlop CryBaby wah

Amp:
Marshall dfx 100 watt (with celestion speaker - doubles as a cab)
Peavey Valveking 100 watt

Recording/Mixing gear:
Mackie HUI (DAW controler)
Echo Layla 3G (rack mounted soundcard)
Dell custom built (pc - too much spec for here!)
Cubase SX3 (recording/arranging)
UAD-1 dsp card for powered plug-ins
DFH Superior (drums)
EZdrummer (more drums)
Loads of other software and VST instruments –too many to list here
Tannoy Reveals (studio monitors)
Sennheiser Pro Mixing headphones
SM57 and SM58 microphones

The only gear I plan on getting in the future is the odd axe... I've had my eyes on a 36 fret 8 string LGM Leviathon for quite some time now... waiting for a windfall of spare cash whenever the global economy turns around...
