PRS make lovely axes. I have a CE24 and it is certainly worth a look. The Gibson studio LPs are also worth a look, especially second hand ones, massive bang for your buck ! Or how about a line 6 variax !!

Don't forget to put a pod on your shopping list. A second hand v2 pod comes in at about 50 quid / 100 bucks and they are just massively useful either plugged into an amp or a desk / computer !
