Here's a couple'o good exercises and the price is right! Almost verbatum from my last post in this subject. This guy does a three string up-sweep with a pull-off then the down sweep. I think it's the sound your looking for.

BTW. This is an **AWESOME** site with many talented instructors and contributers. But I don't think it can substitute for *good* one-on-one teaching. Augment yes, but not susbstitute. After 20 years of playing, (bluegrass mostly) I've started taking lessons again after my daughter blew me away, when after about 3-4 weeks of one-on-one, (and ++hours of practice) she can blow through Eddie's "Eruption" almost flawlessly! Yes she's been playing for about 3 yrs. now, but the progress via o-o-o instruction has me humbled (but Dad proud of course). :cool:

All of this IMHO only.

Thanks for the web sites and the tips... Ultimate guitar looks great. I will listen to your advices. thanks a lot again guys for helping me....I'm practising the sweeps from cyberfret.com!!
