Yeah, sweeping is definitely hard to get used to, but you'll know it when you've got it down. Any idea what the primary problem is? Are you just not moving fast enough or are you having trouble muting the strings? Or accuracy? John Petrucci's Rock discipline has a pretty good section on sweeping, but it's not too in depth.
