What kind of guitar? Fender?
Truss rod adj. could help, but if the buzz is on the high end, not too much help there. If you're driving a fender, go to fender.com and download the techincal pdf for your model. You'll find all of the factory settings for string height, pickup height etc. Also, the guage of the strings will obviously affect the whole neck/bridge setup. What condition are your fret-wires in? If you've got divots in 'oft played frets, you're kinnda limited...

I don't play much music above the 15th so I can setup a tad on the high side, and be buzz-less, with a minimal relief in the neck. Sortta holistic setup I guess. It's not easy to be buzz free and low set, on the high end. (fast)

I used to do a lot of setup on fixed neck acoustics, clamps, heat-lamps and stuff. Oh the bliss of an adjustable neck and bridge!

Hope that helps somewhat.
