Nahhh....I don't go for that drop-z :p tuning crap...least not on solos/lead-work.
When I get some decent gear...I may use a low tuning to get some
Bassy crunch...but there is not crunch in the old R2 unit.

Try POWER DVD or a real piece of software.
WMP, Realplayer, and those little things kill...recordings...muffle them..take away the stereo field.
