The classic idea of a hologram is light/object moving or functioning without optical manipulation.No sensors,cameras...just light being bent,colored and formed to create the appearance of and object without any real source.

Strange though...if holograms were possible,they would still be fake(though not AR so to speak since the light is still physically there)...the best we can do it seems is an illusion of an impossible illusion :confused:

augmented reality... hologram... same difference... I've always thought of a hologram as using some kind of sensor/camera/whatever to create the image... I never even thought of trying to make a hologram without something producing the image
