Alright...a couple of days ago I went to guitar center and played a EBMM JP7...(I was so amazed that I actually found one in guitar center) anyways I was playing it and I noticed that the way the knobs are set up it gives me a better handle on playing the higher strings...When I went back home and play my RG1527 I found myself hitting the volume knob all the time...mind you I got big hands. my question is what do you guys suggest I do to my guitars to get a similar set up like the JP guitar. I would hate to have a hole on my guitar if I get rid of the volume pot and put it further away. also I don't think I would have too much space to do this as the pickup switch is right there also. I was thinking of putting a concentric pot where the tone is at so I would have the volume when is pulled up and tone when is down but still that leaves the big hole from the volume...Get a pickguard maybe?....
