YEa the concept of betting on the outcome you favour least kinda originated from tennis I believe. Some clever sportsman realised that while if he won he'd win £1,000 in price money and nothing if he lost, that by betting against himself he stood to win eitherway. Because losing £100 on the bet against himself wouldnt eat into his £1000 prize money!!
I jus think to myself... how much would I pay for that guy to win! And what ever figure it is I stick on the other guy!
