I recently went a hodgepodge of assorted Peavey and other "average" guitar cables to strictly George L's cables -- I noticed a substantial difference in my tone and it was definately a positive one.

I'd reccomend a George L's cable to you in an instant because not only is it a high-quality, nearly indestructable cable, but you get to choose exactly the length you want and they're relatively inexpensive -- my two 20' cables only cost me about $25 each.
