All I can say is, yes, you would go mad. Very similar to the kidnapping statement above. Imagine a woman, say your wife (hypothetically speaking). There's an undying love for her and all you wish to do is live for her. Give everything you have to her, help her in every way, and every day she makes you happier. Then along comes someone else and on a whim's notice, she's gone and you'll never see her again. And you know this. And it's all you can think about. If you can envision that, you're getting close.
