OK so I play mostly Blues/classic rock and I really want to expand a little into metal, I have the palm muting and pinch harmonics down. But metal solos, is there a scale for metal solos (because im pretty sure its not the pentatonic or blues scales)is it just knowing what notes will sound "metally" or do u just pick random notes and play them really fast or what?
