ok... I was born in state college, cause my dad was still going to college there at penn state, but when I was 5 almost we moved to california, so I don't remember too much about it... I have been back to visit a few times since then, my parents have friends there, but I don't exactly know my way around... I just know that Hoss's is the best fricken restaurant in the world!!! and that we don't have 'tasty-cakes' out here on the west coast

I can't say it's a decision I've made, it's simply what I do. Over the last 12 years, I've got "action" a grand total of 3 times. I guess actions speak louder than words. i also don't want to make a girl who I'm not prepared to marry pregnant. So I don't go for casual sex. If I made a girl pergnant and she wanted to get an abortion on the grounds that it's an unwanted pregnancy, I'd probably make history by obtaining a court injuction barring her from doing it, and tell her to give me the baby once it'ss born. I'd hate to have my baby aborted that much, hence the fact that I aint gonna shag you if I aint prepared to marry you.

Child birth is a life sustaining process. Life is a process. Whether or not you believe in God, everyone agrees that that "sustenance of species" process is there. If you don't wanna complete a role in that process, don't enter the process [u]in the first place[/u]. If you're not looking for a job, don't go to the unemployment line. If you don't want to give birth, DON'T GET PREGNANT!! It's not for you to decide when is life worth preserving, when is a featus really a human being, when it's 8 months into pregnancy or when the just fertilised egg is going down the fallopian tubes. That decision is not for you to make. The rules ought to be clear, fi you don't want to have the baby, don't get pregnant. Why would you agree to take my letter to the post office knwing full well you aint gonna post it?

You could say I feel similar about it. I don't know which I would feel worse about though, having the kid to myself or knowing I allowed the abortion to happen. I'm not about to say whether or not abortion is right or wrong. That's an opinion. But on a personal level of morals, if I do something I feel like I should follow through with it. If I get something good going, may as well finish it off and complete it. If I screw up, I should be capable of owning up to what I've done. Simple as that.

+1 King! I defanately agree with you about abortion. There are only 2 instance's that I could possible justify an abortion, and that is if a woman was raped, or if it were a life and death situation for the mother (even then a hard call). But, other that that I'm 100% against it no matter what.

You know, I think principals are a good thing, but for Christ's sake, results are results and it's stupid to take a course of action based on principals that has been PROVEN to have a more detrimental effect to society compared to other available options.


Which is why I feel that as much as I personally disagree with most abortions, the social implications of outlawing it are far graver than giving women the right to choose. I think it's more important to work towards better education and an enviroment where women are less and less likely to be put into the situation where they have to choose.

Another thing I think happens is that once a kid discovers that one or two of the aspects of an "Abstiance Only" program are in fact lies (the AIDS virus is smaller than the holes in the wall of a Latex condom? GET REAL), they tend to mentally throw the whole lesson out.

The problem is that, at this point, they have almost no idea how to protect themselves.
