And what if she's getting Ds and Fs?

We're kinda conjecturing here but doing better in school rather than worse always helps more than it hurts.

I know their types...Good grades, clean room, absolute submission to his 'good' jugment... here is what you may hear "yeah, better keep it clean...if I find out your grades drop again, your not leaving the house, understand!?Go to your room!"...

A proper response to this attitude is "go to #@&*%& hell, talk to me like that again and I won't do #*@&!!!" with a strong authoritive voice.Keep a determined, serious face around him...he needs to respect you.

A lot of my friends went through similar situations and the only ones to ever tried that sort of thing and pulled it off are the ones who had their business in order.

If your grades are good and you take care of your other responsibilities, you've got something to fight about; if you get straight Ds and never help out around the house, you're running face first into a brick wall.

I give respect where it is deserved....If you don't stand up for yourself you will be a floor mat.

My point is that defiant confrontation in and of itself is not a winning strategy. Look at the West Bank and Gaza Strip and compare that to how India won its independance from the British Empire.

The more she can do to deny him power and credibility, the more leverage she has if and when it comes time to tell him to go crap in his hat.
