But you're quoting the drummer, not Alex's guitar tech !!

I thought Lee wrote that? Or were you making a pun off of "PERTinent?" Because if so, well done.

Neil Pert writes most, if not all, of the lyrics. And that mess scanned like his stuff at it's worst, so I assumed your use of the word "pertinent" was appropos.

Either way, some input from Alex's guitar tech would have been useful. Quoting song lyrics was poetic, but not technically germain.

And this puts us on yet another side-track! :o

Looks like I'm going to have to stick to recording with my PODxt when I want to use some dirt. I just tried recording with the C50 and the freakin' radio station was comming through in some parts. Totally useless for anything other than playing clean (which it does very well at).

I think I might have found the culprit!!!! The amp has a normal input and a bright input, and I was plugged into the bright input because of some high end signal loss from the amount of cable I was using. I took all pedals out of the chain so it's nothing but guitar and amp. On the dirty channel the radio signals were still there. So, I plugged back into the normal input (because my highs were back) and the radio signal is gone! I guess the bright input is going bad or something. If the input had become dirty, i.e. never being used and aquiring a lot of dust and what not, could that have caused the signals to be comming through?

It may just be that that channel has more gain, so the junk gets amplified enough for you to hear it. It wouldn't hurt to check the jack for that channel.

the inputs aren't different channel's, the bright input just boosts the levels around 2Khz. But, that could be boosting in the right place to add the signals. Either way, I'm glad I figured out what was causing it.
