what I was asking for was that, is there like a trick or a better way to play that or anything like that?

I know i'm suppost hit the string on the 18th fret and than hammer on 20, but what I'm curious about is, When I've hammered on the 20th fret am I suppose to hit the 15th string and than hammer on 18? thats what I don't get...
