I think brittny spears did so well financially because chritina agulira came out at about the same time and they sound kind of the same. Although im not a fan of pop music, christina agulira does have a hell of a voice (and shes hot as hell.) So with that said I think that helped brittny spears sell cds regardless of her lack of musical talent.
