My very firts time here.

I get the feeling I'm gonna be around for a while (At least I hope so :) )

I am trying to learn the guitar. I love the instrument but it seems that there is so much to learn and comprehend about it. I've been learning the very very basic chords thus far. Now, could any one tell me what material I would need to get in order to improve my abilities?

I bougnt the "Idiots guide to playing guitar" but i think I need more material to learn from.I'd like to learn how to play songs like "Stairway to heaven" and some awesome accoustic stuff, but some of the songs out there seem to complicated yet.
