I know for sure that they want to make another album because they are always talking about either being or going back in the studio. As for St. Anger i thought it was good but is wasn't "Metallica". Metallica is my favorite band and kirk is my inspiration for playing guitar but I dont know if i can handle another St. Anger. The biggest thing for me was that it didnt have any solos or very much of anything from Kirk that James couldn't have done himself. Going back to your discussion of Jason. I thought he was good and i really liked his energy. Its just that the band always treated him like he was the "new guy" even when he was with them for years. Also towards the end, they DID alow him to be a part of the songwriting, and thats when the music started to change. The end of the line for me was when i found out he wanted to play with Metallica and ANOTHER band. This is METALLICA!!! This isn't a side project for you to play in when u get bored.
