ok what i really ment is i have a EPIPHONE les paul not a gibson. i need new pickups to achieve a sound like Alexi lahio of Children of Bodom and Zakk Wylde. I dont care what kind of pickups they are however im leaning tword emg's.

if actives have no tone as u say how come kirk hammet (metallica) Zakk Wylde, and many other artists use them? :D
