all music is derrivative of something else somewhere, somehow. get over it.



and back to the point: you can't compare apples and oranges. jimi was a better player, kurt had better pop sensabilities. they didn't particularly play the same type of music or anything to really base any comparrison...they both influenced innumerable people.
