hey, does anyone know how to use delay to create the constant output of notes type thing in songs like buckethead's "big sur moon" or on a song by he is legend www.purevolume.com/heislegend the song is "either they decorated for christmas......"

i know its a matter of setting the delay repeats and matching that to what you play, but i'm struggling. Any help would be great!
