There are many places on the internet, including this site, that have chords tabbed out. Those are very helpeful, but I personlly would rather have a chord chart or book of chords that I can physically open up and look at. You said there are no stores whithin thirty miles around you, but you forgot the greatest store right in front of you, the internet!! Check on ebay or just seach google for chord books and buy a cheap one. Also, like Lordathestrings said, check out this site. There is a lot of really good info on this site, and the wisdom and knowledge of many people who have been playing guitar for a long time. Check out the different lessons, or forums on what you are looking for. You can't put a price on that kind of information... oh yeah, it's free.
