Who do you like to listen to? Is there a band or an artist that makes you go "WOW"?

When you start out, a bit of motivation is a very good thing. And having a hero(ine) to aspire to is a big motivator. Listen to the music around you. Pick out stuff that sounds good to you, and then sweat over your guitar until you can play it [u]better[/u] than the original!

Edit: That's no joke - everyone can improve over time, and even current releases were probably recorded more thatn a year ago.[/font]
