[font=trebuchet ms]You're missing the point. A POS axe with active pups is going to sound the same as a your LP. Why waste a perfectly good guitar? If you want active pups for playing metal, any old axe will do. That's why 'metal' guitars can have such bizarre body styling - the body doesn't contribute to the tone. So put some decent pickups in your LP, and corrupt something else with those actives.[/font]
