Is the IPod any good?I have alot of cd's and it seems like a waste to spend money on a product that plays sub-par quality music.I know its good if you want to carry thousands of songs 'on the go' but the degraded quality in sound seems like it just isn't worth it...I'd rather just have my decent sony walkmans and a favorite cd or two.

I can't see the logic of people downgrading to a crappy sounding format.
