Just search the lessons for the word "sweeping" and it should be apparent.
If you don't really feel like doing that, here's a pretty simple explanation: Sweeping is just a form of picking in which the guitarist simply "sweeps" up and down the strings with his pick. It is effective in picking out one or two note per string arpeggio runs. For a more in depth explanation, search the tricks section, or just reply to this post and I'll get further into it.
