Go to radio shack, buy a mono chord(about $1-2).. put it in the head phone jack, then run it through the mic part of ur computer. and use sound recorder, u hear a lot of squeeks and strings sounds but that's nothing that somthing like nero sound recorder and a little effects can't rub off
