Just bought my new guitar its a replica of a Stratocastor and it came with a little amp..sounds great..any how...what would you recommend, would you recommend having lesssons with a teacher or trying to learn on my own... :confused:

I have been playing a banjo..well reading some tabs and playing them for quiet some time but its a lot easier on the banjo, you only have 4 or five strings for a start and the neck is half the size in diameter, but i love the sound of an electric guitar and i desperately want to play at least a song...my trouble is is that i am very impatient, i know i have to stick in there and be patient...but what do you think..........cheers daz
