You must have looked in the wrong place on the Fender website, the vintage noiseless are still listed as alnico 5, the Samarium Cobalt"s are a newer design that Fender and Bill Lawrence came up with, they are in some of the new guitars but Fender isn't selling them separately yet, if you want to see the specs on your p/u's go to the site and go to the strings, picks & accesories section..................................
