Iron Butterfly. Here's the rock-n-roll story: A reporter asked the lead singer of Iron Butterfly what their new single was called (a 20 min. epic with an 8 min drum solo). He was totally plastered and tried saying "In the Garden of Eden", but it came out sounding like "inna-gadda-da-vida" (try it out yourself-- it's good for 2 mins. of entertainment). After he sobered up and heard the news that his new single was called "Inna Gadda Da Vida", he decided he liked it that way better than the English way and kept it. The rest, as they say is-- THUD

(large hand clamping down on my right shoulder)
"Ow right this is the Cliche Police. We're gonna have ta take ya in."
... and that's all I have to say about that.
