yes, you need a mic of some sort to hook up to your pc. (I think) and you can talk and play your axe and people can hear you on their pc speakers. It can be very cool, but sometimes it doesn't sound that great. Pc speakers can be bad, etc.. If you have the tools, do it man! :)
