I suppose that's a point, but how many of you actually want to be pop-culture guitarists? People like Bela Fleck, Leo Kottke, John Mclaughlin are making money without denegrating thier musical abilities, they just aren't front page artists. people like Yngwie, Vai, Satch make money, just not the kind of money pop artists make. There is plenty of money to be made, it just depends on the source.
