who cares if you're the best guitarist in the world? if you have no hit record then it amounts to nothing. Get a hit record first. Even if you're a crappy guitar player as long as you get a hit record, you're fine. there's so many bands out there with average guitar players who have hit records and people worship their asses like crazy.

I can’t sing so I sing through my guitar. So when the sound guy says: “Your guitar is too loud!” I think: "Why does he never say that to the vocalist?"
