I play a variety of extreme metal, mostly arch enemy and in flames style stuff. I just recently purchased a Schecter blackjack 06. It is one of the best sounding guitars i have played for every genre of music EXCEPT for that style. Are there any possibilities for making it metal-capable or should I take it back (guitar center has a 30 day return policy) and go for a jackson?
