Does it really matters how he does it ?
Everybody should have his own way of sounding nice , and it's not only technique ... Technically speeking anyway , for the sake of practice , you should try all the possible ways to play a given line , and may be you find an odd way that sounds better than everybody else , yeah ?

there is NO picking in that intro, for a fact i know ive seen angus play it live man, he throws his right hand in the air doing the devil horn thing while hes playing it, so there is no picking, i can play it well too and that how it sounds.

My heck!! did you just completey skip the last thing said or are you just stupid!!! Rock and roll's not about hitting all the notes right, that's what pep band and orcestras are for. His question wasn't how do you be just like Angus when playing this song, it was how can I play it and not mess up the timing, so just please shut up!

Time for my two cents worth or $5.99 american, ok I have the Guitar Legends interviewhe says "This riff started out as a one-handed thing I stumbled across while I was diddling around on the guitar one day" lol if that tells ya anything then it later on it goes to say he taped up the rest of the strings so there wouldn't be unwanted noise. But nobody is wrong it can be played either way.

I would think that playing it and not messing it up would involve hitting all the notes right.
