Tee Hee, gland I'm not the only who did that !!!
The tape deck on MA's stereo had a left and a right mic input and a big old gain control which was invariably turned up to 11.
The electric guitar was borrowed from a friend and didn't even grace a brand name ! Probably worth less than a tube of toothpaste. But I loved it !!
1983 saw my first real electric guitar a Hondo Explorer which came in a a whopping 35 quit ! That in conjunction with a Laney "Mighty fifty" amp which was always broken, so back to the stereo !!
That was another prized possession until Mr Squire strat came along in 1985 !
Ahhh the halcyon days of 1983 and those single speaker blues !
My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.
