Mics output low Z signal, your guitar amp wants high Z signal. This is why mixing desks have built in pre amps.
The problem is not the pedal (which is NOT designed for lowZ signal) but the signal coming into the amp.
The solution is to use a preamp to bring the mic to either High Z or line level which will sort of work. Bare in mind that the human voice is a lot more dynamic than a guitar consequently the guitar speaker wont be ideal for reproducing vocals.
This is why PA systems have both pre amps and tweeters.
