At the very least, you can find out whether that tranny is no longer available, and some possible sources for alternative parts. If they no longer stock it, you should be able to get the specifications for it, and match that against parts made by Hammond, for instance.[/font]

I'm just so freakin' mad about the situation that I feel like putting a few rounds of 12ga. sluggs through it :mad: The amp has been nothing but trouble since I bought it, and has only worked for maybe 6 hours total since I've had it. $300 for the amp, and $100 for new tubes, and now who know how much for a new OT (might need 2 with it being a stereo amp?) and how much for the install. :mad: I'm going to scrap it for now and use the tubes for the classic 50 combo when needed. I'm going to try to get a head for now, because a 2x12 combo, 6 space rack, and 4x12 cab is just tooo much to carry around. I know I could just use the 2x12, but things just sound so much better through the 4x12's which is part of how I get "my" tone.

Well, I ordered the XXX and they said it was drop-shipped which means it's going to be shipped from the manufacture. I guess this means Peavey is going to ship it to me? I sure hope so, because it should get here pretty quick with us both being in Mississippi. Now to mod it again like I had it before to get that glorious ball crunching tone I had. If only my bass player had called me a week earlier to join the band I would still have the head today :rolleyes:
