I thought it was a Kay, it really has that old Kay or Silvertone look but I took a look at a still photo and even though it wasn't a real close up the logo on the headstock looked like the old 60's, early 70's Yamaha logo, it probably will be pretty tough to dig up info on basses of that vintage and make......
