I'm in KY, about 2 hours from the border, but I currently haven't added any NES songs to my guitar vocabulary.

Kentucky huh? Howdy neighbor :p. I live in Northeastern Ohio so I bet it's still another 3-4 hours once you reach the border for a total of like 5-6 hour drive... That'd put a crimp in practicin' huh? :D

I'm sure a bunch exist (2 have already been mentioned on this thread :) ) I don't know what it is about those old songs that kicks so much ass? It must be the fuzzy childhood memories that those tunes bring back. Not to mention the excellent composition.

Some things are just hard to let go. My favorite game was/is Metroid, though I don't know how the music in it would work out.

Where are those damn scientists when ya need 'em? They should've already have invented transporters like on Star Trek. That sure would make getting around easier.

Billy Sheehan is Steve Vai's bassist. Victor Wooten plays with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. John Entwistle plays with the Who. Getty Lee is the frontman of Rush, and Les Claypool heads Primus.

John Entwhistle R.I.P. dead of cocaine-related medical trauma.

And it's Geddy Lee!

Sheesh! :p

BTW, Paul_20: If bass was truly unnecessary, guitar and piano players wouldn't be so busy filling in that part of the audio spectrum when there is no bass player.

But seriously theres tons of guitar players but hardly any bass players because the bass isnt fun like the guitar. I mean the guitar you can go crazy on it but the bass you just smack it to death and pluck it haha that sounds funny.

But yeah that would be cool if we all could play together lots of videogame music but every one lives far and i dont have any friends or know any one that plays guitar im the only one that takes interest in it and music.

Ummm... I think you've just lost about 100 credibility points on that statement. Also, I think Raskolnikov is waiting outside your window with an axe right about... now.
