Thanks guy's. Actually I have a pretty good grasp on the effects used for different styles. I have written several articles on the use of effects that have been published by Musicians Friend, the Guitar Alliance and most recently on my own site Guitar Gear Heads. What I am looking for here is some new idea's from people that play this style of music and have come up with new ways to get the tones that they like. Much of the guitar tones in country rock music are very similar to bands like the Eagles and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I am always trying to find the next great sound and a great way to learn is to try out what other players are doing and then modify those setting to suit the sounds I am looking for.
