Up here in Alberta most of the snowfall is very light, dry, powder because of the low temperatures and high altitude (~1100 meters above sea level). I use a broom to clear my sidewalk more often than a shovel. In Ontario (~300 meters above sea level) the snow is usually very wet and heavy. It's a major-league bitch to shovel that stuff. I found that a squeegee cleared off my car more effectively than the usual brush. (I found that moving to Calgary solved the problem entirely).[/font] :)
