Oh here's a little tidbit for all you that are too manly to try that short scale guitar... the Kramer Nightswan and Proaxe both use the same scale neck at the Daisy Rock Daisy mini guitar.... but then again to find one of those 2 guitars you will pay 4 times the price....
Oh and if you really wanna try, I might sell my mint condition Aztec Nightswan for an insane amount of money... no scratches, no chips, no blemishes, and .... no rust on the floyd....

I got a couple that rusted due to sweat, but usually most of the plating tends to wear off the fine tuners... mine is minty fresh. :)

I played one of the daisy rock basses and I was quite impressed. It played and sounded much better then most of the crap Squire basses my students bring in. There was an article on them in Guitar Player this month...they gave them a good review.
